Despite the technical difficulties involved with such a large and heavy piece of furniture, I knew I had to make this bench. I find the simplicity of design and the humour of using garden tools as a resting place an irresistible combination. The sleek and shiny stainless steel seat backs are a striking contrast to the huge pieces of timber that make the seat and legs. The timber is weatherproofed with wood oil and the stainless steel back rests are maintenance free. The example shown is 60” long x 18” wide x 42” high £2,000 OPTIONS: Length
